WW update: June 28, 2006

A whirlwind romance is crazy on the diet but I still did pretty good, haven't been eating too much, just not hungry (even before the romance).

On with the stats:

NSV (non scale victory): Took care of myself first, survived a breakup of a short but deeply connected relationship. Okay better than survived, doing really great!

Started dating. Coffee is my saving grace. No dessert, just coffee.

WW update: June 14, 2006

This week was hard. I got rejected the first time I have put myself out there in years. I went to a Storm game and found that they sell pints of ice cream and I found it easy to justify buying a pint. And the left over cookies from a client meeting almost all found their way to me. But I perservered.

Current Dress size: comfortable 16 (I could zip up my 14 jeans just not walk around in them more than a few hundred feet.)

NSV (non scale victory): I threw myself back out there and I started talking to ppl on match.com and have really worked on just loving myself.

WW update: June 6, 2006

The relay went amazing. I learned so much about myself. I walked 16 miles over 4 one hour walks. I did no training, so I was definitely pushing myself. I got motivated after that. Really to be dedicated and to make my goal closer and of course to make my goal. Along the way I have made other movtivators and goals as well. Short term and often not related to the scale. I realize that it is inspirational to work for a good cause and to be with good people.

WW update: May 31

This week went well. I did splurge and don't know when it will catch up with me but you know what I am ready for it. I am living how I want and accepting the consequences but I am also making good choices. I truly love being happy and love sharing that with others. Weight loss has definitely helped change my body chemistry and mental state to help me achieve that, as has the help and support I continue to get from everyone.

So on with the stats:

NSV (non scale victory): I have two: one I am walking in the Relay for Life (donations always welcome, under the first name Aleece) it is 22 hours and I am walking several of those. It is big for me.
Two this week people I have known for so very many years told me I looked better than ever and not just weight, but happy too, and just great. And for a full week I felt great. Things got to me then rolled off. I am happy and I am not apologetic or embarassed (okay maybe a little), but I just want to share it.
