WW Update: week 8

This week was tough as well. I drag too much and at a bit of fast food. But have been getting back on to my pills and program off and on all week. Monday- Wednesday I did much better with both. And yesterday I did great with water, drank more than usual and more than minimum. It paid off. After all my drinking I was tired and bloated so that helped take off the water with a bit of weight too. So I am down. This is a shocker I thought I was going to gain up to 5 pounds on Tuesday that is how bloated I felt and how my bracelet/anchor fit. I am inspired. I am so close to my next 5 lb award but more important so very close to my 10% goal. I am going to a different meeting next week so that will be tough but that is okay, if it happens this week great, if not then it will be almost better back home with my meeting people. I am looking forward to the key chain!

Here is a quick update:

Start Weight: 258.2
Last Weeks Weight: 237.4
Current Weight: 234.0
Lost this week: -3.4 lbs.
Total Loss: 24.2
Left to 10% Goal: 0.8 lbs
Final Goal: 150 (?)
Left to Final Goal: 84.6 lbs
Percent of weight loss goal: 22.2%
Start Dress size: 20/22 (I went back and realized I was 22W in "normal" clothes and 18/20...mostly 20 in Lane Bryant clothes)
Current Dress size: 18 Even my 18 jeans fit a bit baggy.
NSV (non scale victory) I bought lacey underwear at Costco (I know not high quality but cheap and they are transition ones) and I bought the Large and it fit. Normally I would have to find XL or XXL when it came to anything from a "normal" store like Costco or any other store that isn't "for larger women" I feel sexier. AND people are commenting a lot on my progress.

WW Update: week 7

his has been a tough week. I did gain. Not entirely on program, trying to find a balance of real life and program and figuring out how to make program real life. My biggest concern is that my supplements take up all my "flex" points and thus I feel more confined in my eating. So I have had "night" of off program. That turned into a little more here or there without totally recording. I met with a dietician and she said I was doing well, she gave me a few more pointers and I will go shopping for more food after pay day and rearrange some of what I am eating now. I also relooked at some of the food I have been eating and realized the mushroom/turkey/chicken burgers are actually slightly more than 50% fat. So no more of those. I will use them at my birthday BBQ though. So that saves me on my birthday expenses. Overall things feel a little tighter. Which is more psychological I think. I am back on pills, now I started on Monday night. Then took two of the three "sets" of pills on Tuesday and all of them yesterday. :) It will be a daily challenge but I know I don't succeed with out them. I also have been doing my morning shakes: Yesterday and Today. Now I am recording everything again. And today I will go out for a walk for some amount of time. I will, I have it not only helps weight loss but I found out from my dietician it actually reduces insulin resistance for a couple hours after working out. Thus making my body react more normally. That is amazing.

Here is a quick update:

Start Weight: 258.2
Last Weeks Weight: 236.8
Current Weight: 237.4
Lost this week: +0.6 lbs.
Total Loss: 20.8
Left to 10% Goal: 4.2 lbs
Final Goal: 150 (?)
Left to Final Goal: 87.4 lbs
Percent of weight loss goal: 19.2%
Start Dress size: 20/22 (I went back and realized I was 22W in "normal" clothes and 18/20...mostly 20 in Lane Bryant clothes)
Current Dress size: 18 (the 20's need a belt and even then are baggy) Even my 18 jeans fit comfortable
NSV (non scale victory) I wore a shirt that use to be real tight and it looked good enough to go out in public. I could still stand to lose a few more pounds to make it look even better. But major coup to wear it. I love that shirt!

back on program

Okay so I have talked with my dietician and that really helped. Much more than I expected. I also talked to my therapist and realized I was being too strict with myself. Setting myself up for failure. My supplements take up all my "flex points" for the week (5 pts each day). But they help me function and really help overall wellness for me. So I need to tweak the "rules" for WW to fit my needs. I decided instead of doing my "well I will just eat a little off program" and not knowing how much I really eat over I am going to arbitrarily pick a set number of flex points I will give myself beyond the 35. It may slow down my weight loss but it will make it easier for the long run. Not only that but it will also make it so that I know what I am eating better. Heck it may decrease my intake of points. Now my decision of how many more. I as thinking 15 which is about half as much as the overall allowage and ~750 calories. I can only try. I have been adding points here and there and haven't been gaining weight.....so far. But this will probably make it so I am eating less off the program. Like today I did all my flex points and wrote down everything. I ended up using 9 pts. And that was mainly a small slice of banana bread. (be warned it is high in points)

So tonight I will face the scale and face the group and hope that everything is still going well and if it isn't scale wise then I will just get back on track like I am planning and work the program. Oh and exercise. That is my biggest weakness right now. Anyhow there is my update.

I liked JustJewls tummy shots.....maybe I will start doing tummy shots too. Since I have a gut I think I will try to include that since that is what I am most excited about leaving, though I think it will be the thing around the most, as I am told by my doctors about my condition. So tonight. Belly shot 1.
